WAV stands for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. This means you can travel in the vehicle while seat in your wheelchair

Tax

We'll arrange for your scooter or powered wheelchair to be taxed automatically each year throughout your lease.

You only need tax if you have a Class 3 product.

You do not need proof of exemption. And you can still get road tax exemption on a private car, separately.

What is a Class 3 scooter or powered wheelchair?

These are scooters or powered wheelchairs that can be used on the road, and you only need tax if you have one of these.

Renewing your tax

We'll renew your tax automatically every year, but it can take up to four weeks.

Checking your tax details

Your tax will already be arranged when you get your product.

Your dealer can check this for you with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

If you end your lease early, but your tax is still renewed

Please contact the DVLA to let them know you do not have your product anymore.

If your product had a registration plate and it does not match the details on your documents, please contact us.
