How much cars and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles cost

Some cost less than your weekly allowance, others cost the same, and some need an Advance Payment. You can search for a car or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle to see the current prices.

How you pay

You’ll exchange all or part of your higher rate mobility allowance for a brand-new car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (), scooter or powered wheelchair.

We’ll receive your payments straight from your allowance provider, to make paying simple.

You’ll continue to get any other parts or components you receive as normal.

Remember, when you lease a vehicle through the Motability Scheme, insurance, breakdown and servicing are all included in your worry-free package, so all you need to budget for is fuel.
