Get the Dacia Spring with £500 charging credit

This is a great option if you often need to charge on the go. We’ll add this £500 credit to your Motability Go Charge card. You can use this to charge at over 50,000 public chargepoints.

How it works

If you choose the Dacia Spring with £500 credit, you’ll use £63.20 of your mobility allowance per week.

That’s £3.20 more each week, to cover the cost of the credit we’ll give you at the start of your lease.

Here’s how it works out over your three-year lease:

You’ll use some of your allowance. This is also known as a ‘fixed’ or ‘constant’ lease.

You’ll keep and spend the rest of your allowance as you want, including if it goes up in the future.

How will I get my charging credit?

If you’re getting your first electric car on the Scheme, we’ll send your Go Charge card a few days after you’ve ordered.

You’ll need to register your card and let us know. Just email dacia@mo.co.uk with your full name, Customer Reference Number (CRN) and Go Charge card number.

If you already have a Go Charge card, you’ll just need to email us with the details of your existing card.

We’ll then add your credit after you’ve got your new Dacia Spring. This can take up to three weeks to add but is usually much quicker.

What if I have credit left over when I give my car back?

You’ll lose any credit you do not use by the end of your lease. We will not transfer this to your next car.

Will I still get a home chargepoint or bp pulse, and this £500 credit?

Yes, if this is your first electric car on the Scheme, you’re still eligible for a home chargepoint or bp pulse subscription.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully and contact us or your Dacia dealer if you have any questions.

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are in addition to the Hire Agreement terms and conditions.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THESE TERMS DO

We are Motability Operations Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”), with registered address at 22 Bishopsgate, 6th Floor, London, EC2N 4BQ.

You have received these Terms because you have placed an application to lease a Dacia Spring motor vehicle on the Motability Contract Hire Scheme which includes us loading an amount of charge credit onto a Go Charge card (the “Go Charge Card”). The Go Charge Card can be used to pay for a charging session at a range of electric vehicle charging points (for more information on the location of charging points, visit www.motablity.co.uk/gocharge).

These Terms govern your use of the Go Charge Card. By using the Go Charge Card, you accept and agree to these Terms.

THE TERMS

  1. Upon receipt of your Go Charge Card, you will need to follow the instructions contained within the accompanying letter to activate the card, set up a Go Charge account and agree to the Go Charge terms and conditions.
  2. Once you have activated the Go Charge Card, you should contact us to confirm the activation by email at dacia@mo.co.uk and include your full name, customer reference number and the Go Charge Card number (which will be in the format MOTAB-xxxxx-xxx).
  3. Upon receiving the confirmation set out at paragraph 2 above, we will arrange for the applicable funds to be loaded onto the Go Charge Card (the “Credit”) within 3 weeks. The Credit will be held on your Go Charge Card and unavailable for use until such time as we have received confirmation from your Dacia dealer that the Vehicle has been handed over to you. Depending on when handover takes place, the Credit will be available for you to use within either 3 weeks of activation of the Go Charge Card or 3 days of handover, whichever period of time ends latest.
  4. For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be able to process and load any Credit onto your Go Charge Card until we have received confirmation that it has been activated.
  5. The Credit will be available for you to use throughout the term of the Hire Agreement. Once the Hire Agreement ends, either because of early termination (for whatever reason) or the natural expiry of the Hire Agreement, any remaining unused Credit will immediately become unavailable and will be removed from the Go Charge Card.
  6. The Credit is intended to support you with the costs of electric vehicle charging sessions throughout the duration of the three-year Hire Agreement. If the Hire Agreement is terminated early (for whatever reason) and you have already used all available Credit, we reserve the right to recover a pro-rata amount of the Credit from you.
  7. Once you have used all of the available Credit, you may continue to use the Go Charge Card, however, you will be responsible for the cost of any future charging sessions. The cost of any such future charging sessions will be debited from the payment card which you added when you set up your Go Charge account.
  8. To avoid abuse of the Credit, you are responsible for ensuring that you, and any Drivers, only use the Credit to pay for electric vehicle charging sessions in respect of the Motability Contract Hire Scheme Vehicle and not in respect of any other vehicle which you, or any Drivers, may have access to.
  9. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
    1. withdraw the Credit if you, or any Driver, has failed to comply with the provisions of paragraph 8 above;
    2. change the provider of the Go Charge Card at any time. This will not affect your rights and obligations under these Terms; and
    3. change, modify, add or remove all or portions of these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Go Charge Card following posting of the changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.

  11. DISCLAIMER

    The Go Charge Card is provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis and to the extent permitted by law, we grant no warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, in respect of the Go Charge Card, the associated Go Charge account or the availability of charging points at which the Go Charge Card can be used, and without limitation, we grant no implied warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

    We assume no responsibility for any information or content which you provide, send or receive through your use of the Go Charge Card, the associated Go Charge account or any charging points.

    We are not responsible for any interruption, defect, delay in operation, network failure or any other technical or other disruption or malfunction in respect of the Go Charge Card, associated Go Charge account or any charging points.

    We do not represent or warrant that the Go Charge Card, associated Go Charge account or any charging points at which the available Credit can be spent will be uninterrupted or error free or that any error or interruption will be discovered or corrected by us.

    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    In no event will we or our service providers be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, punitive, fixed or enhanced damages, including without limitation loss of profits (whether incurred directly or indirectly), loss of data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from:

    • your access to or use of the Go Charge Card, associated Go Charge account or any charging point; or
    • unauthorised access to, use or alteration of the Go Charge Card, associated Go Charge account or any charging point.

    Our total aggregate liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the amount of five hundred pounds (£500).

    INDEMNITY BY YOU

    You agree, to the extent permitted under applicable law, to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless against any and all complaints, demands, claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities and expenses arising out of, or relating in any way to your use of the Go Charge Card, associated Go Charge account or any charging point in breach of these Terms.

    GOVERNING LAW

    These Terms and any dispute of claim (including non-contractual disputes of claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
