Start applying online
Whether you’re applying or getting your next vehicle, you can start this in the Motability Scheme online account as long as you’re looking for a car or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle).
Just go to ‘New car application’ and update your personal details and allowance information, ready for when you visit a dealer or talk to a supplier.
You can also use your account to manage your lease flexibly, get payments quicker and add or change drivers.
Speak to a dealer, supplier or installer
Your next step is to speak to a dealer, supplier or installer, depending on what you’re looking for.
Looking for a car, scooter or powered wheelchair?
Please speak to a dealer.
If it’s a scooter or powered wheelchair, you’ll need to speak to the dealer first. They’ll bring some products to your home so you can try them.
Looking for a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle)?
Please speak to a supplier. They’ll bring a WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicle to your home so you can try it.
Find an adaptations installer
If you’re looking for adaptations in your car, you’ll need to speak to an adaptations installer first.
They’ll make sure you’re choosing the right adaptations for your car and your needs.
