Start applying online

You can start applying in the Motability Scheme online account. This will speed things up later.

Your supplier will order for you

Once you’ve decided, your Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle supplier will order your new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for you. You can check the progress of your order in your Motability Scheme online account.

Once it’s accepted, we’ll send you a confirmation letter with your Personal Identification Number (PIN). You'll need this to get your Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. You can also see your PIN in your Motability Scheme online account.

Your Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle supplier will usually send you an order form to sign and return. This will list which Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle you've chosen and any optional extras you've added.
